Communication Strategy
A good communication strategy will promote understanding, support, and involvement in the change effort. It will provide for a listening environment for continually improving the direction, design decisions, and ultimate implementation of the changes. The strategy must provide clear responsibilities and support roles for communication and facilitate planning that will cover objectives, content, media, mechanisms, and scheduling of communication activities. Establishing the strategy will allow for stewardship of the overall communications pattern to help promote consistency of messages and information, assure ready access to sources and updated content, and promote network members taking ownership of the continuous improvement of the processes and of materials.
