Change Your Mind To Change Your World
When you challenge your current core beliefs and begin to change the way you view the world, real positive transformation occurs in your external environment. Our conditioned beliefs create our perceptions and experiences of the world; they even drive the types of questions we ask and the situations we seek, hence when they change, our world changes.
Brain research has now reversed our original thinking that it was impossible to alter the brains of adults. The brain forms approximately 100,000 neural pathways daily. It has the capability of forming new pathways if we simply instruct it to do so. If we do not, the brain creates replacement pathways by replicating the old networks of what was believed to be important in the past. Unless we take conscious action to reprogram our brain from its habitual way of thinking, transformation cannot occur.
Each microtransformation you create by changing your perceptions through mental exercises creates new pathways. Information is no longer processed through your past beliefs but through your regenerated networks giving you new observations and experiences. Your brain creates new configurations daily each time you get an “aha” revelation. You are in effect rewriting parts of your brain.
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is the most effective way to create neural pathway changes within your brain. When we practice making repeat changes in our emotional states, we produce characteristic changes. You can perform very simple NLP exercises to reframe your experiences, shifting your emotional states. When you practice these exercises, you create your most resourceful states and view the world with new awareness.
