Ideas For Change, From Within And Without
There will already be good thoughts about possibilities for change that have never been taken seriously or that have come from sources not taken very seriously by the decision makers in the organization. Find ways to take a deeper look at some of the potential of these homegrown ideas. At the same time, look broadly across your industry and others for creative divergence. Establish a “learning community” within your organization. Find people who would relish the work and be open to new ideas but who are still practical enough to be credible to the population as a whole. Work with them to develop a core value for expanding thinking and widening the possibility for the future. Their primary work is bringing ideas back to the organization, not just convincing themselves of the best ways to go.
